Public Spaces Protection Order Extension - The Vine, Sevenoaks
Overview
Sevenoaks District Council is consulting on the extension Public Spaces Protection Order at The Vine, Sevenoaks, which was put in place in December 2023 to address the anti-social behaviour (ASB).
There has been a reduction of ASB at The Vine since it was implemented in partnership with Police and Sevenoaks Town Council.
For an extension a consultation has to take place first.
A PSPO is an additional tool that gives the Police and Council Officers powers to help reduce specific anti-social behaviours. It also allows officers to issue a warning, or a fixed penalty notice for anti-social behaviour carried out by individuals. The PSPO is enforced under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Please note that there will be paper copies available of the consultation if needed. Please email community.safety@sevenoaks.gov.uk if you would prefer this way. Also no person's details will be used publicly.
