Public Space Protection Order Extension – Hewitts Roundabout, Orpington By-Pass
Overview
Sevenoaks District Council is consulting on the extension of a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) at Hewitts Roundabout, Orpington By-Pass, Halstead.
The PSPO was introduced in March 2024 to address car meets and gatherings and associated anti-social behaviour.
A PSPO gives the Police and the Council additional powers to tackle specific types of anti-social behaviour, including issuing warnings and fixed penalty notices. The PSPO is enforced under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
