Private Sector Housing Enforcement Policy Survey
Overview
We are inviting views on our updated Private Sector Housing Enforcement Policy.
This Policy sets out how we will work to improve standards in privately rented homes, respond to complaints, support landlords and agents, and how and when we take enforcement action where necessary.
This survey asks for your feedback on whether the revised Policy is clear, fair, proportionate and effective.
We are particularly interested in whether the Policy clearly explains our enforcement approach, the support we can provide and action we can take when needed.
The survey should take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
You do not need to answer every question, although the more information you provide, the more useful your response will be.
Your comments will be considered before the Policy is agreed later this year.
If you need this survey in another format, or require help taking part, please contact us.
Although this survey does not ask for your name, any person information you provide will not be passed on to any other organisations and will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link to www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/privacy].
The survey opens 17 July 2026 and closes 30 August 2026.
